Beautiful natural organic cotton polar fleece fabric by Bo Weevil, GOTS certified.
Our natural fabrics are unbleached and undyed. As a result, you often still see some seeds of the cotton plant in the fabric. The fabric has a nice and lively appearance and a natural colour. An additional advantage: natural fabrics are generally well suited for people with a (skin) allergy.
Fleece fabric is a knitted fabric with loops at the back and the front, and of which both sides are significantly roughened/brushed. This makes for a very soft and voluminous fabric, that is nice and warm. Note that, because of the treatment fleece gets, the fabric does shrink a bit more when washed for the first time. Cotton fleece has a big advantage: in contrast to synthetic fleece, cotton fleece does not release any harmful plastic particles during the washing process.
Suitable for jumpers, cardigans, hoodies, coats, jackets, shawls, blankets, warm lining, baby wear and accessories.
Washing advice: when washed at 40 degrees, the fabric is very stable in width, only 1.5% shrinkage. Length shrinkage is (maximum) 8.5%, therefore it is better to wash colder. The fabric is preferably washed on a wool program.
